Hauptbahnhof, the main train station in Frankfurt, Germany, is a major hub for travel in Europe. I have spent a lot of time there and some of that time was personally meaningful to me. The pictures in this series were made over several visits that spanned years. All photographs are candid and usually close up. People in Germany do not expect that candid photos will be taken of them and somehow, I was never seen by any of the subjects.
