These Photographs were taken in front of an abandoned building on Kent Street in Williamsburg. The now demolished building was covered with graffiti and spilled paint. The women depicted were passing by.

I asked them to participate in the project.

Each person was asked to make an "X” and then to do a second pose in what they thought was a position that no one else had done.
